True teachers are those who use themselves as bridges over which they invite their students to cross; then, having facilitated their crossing, joyfully collapse, encouraging them to create their
own. – Nikos Kazantzakis
RCA Leadership Team & Faculty
Kathleen O’Grady, PCC, CALC
Founder, CEO, Program Creator, Head Co-Lead Instructor & Mentor Coach
Kathleen O’Grady is the self-made authentic leader, and positively disruptive pioneer, responsible for launching Raleigh Coaching, LLC in 2008. She did this to support individual and organizational clients by inspiring authentic leadership, creativity and innovation. Why? Because every cell in her body was screaming at her to do so. She even left the ‘stability’ of corporate America during a global financial crisis to pursue her passion, on her own terms. Needless to say, her family and friends thought she was out of her mind, but they eventually saw that it was well worth the leap of faith.
Driven to increase her level of impact, she later launched Raleigh Coaching Academy™ to credibly educate and foster coaches who share her commitment to the ethical integrity of the coaching field, as well as a passion to honor individual uniqueness as the most competitive edge one can harness. Kathleen understands that the greatest gift a coach can give their client is the courage to recognize and stand in their own authentic power.
Kathleen received her initial coach training at North Carolina State University, and has since achieved the Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credential through the International Coach Federation. As a two-time Past President of the ICF Raleigh Area Chapter she is known locally and beyond for her visionary contribution to growing and expanding her community’s global award-winning chapter.
Lucetta Zaytoun, PCC, CPCC, CALC
President, Senior Co-Lead Instructor & Mentor Coach
Lucetta Zaytoun is a trail-blazing coach, author and keynote speaker who is currently living her life’s dream to banish self-doubt throughout humanity one courageous act at a time. How did she get here? Well, after raising six kids, an unexpected life earthquake hit. This led her to put everything she owned in storage, sell her car, shut down her phone and travel in developing countries by herself for one year. What was the earthquake? To find out, you’ll have to read her memoir, It’s Already Tomorrow Here: the inspiring and life-changing story of her precarious, intrepid, and fascinating journey around the world.
Almost immediately after Lucetta’s feet hit US soil she challenged herself further to become a Certified Professional Life Coach, through the Coaches Training Institute. She loved personal transformation so much that she subsequently attended their Leadership Program. Lucetta proudly holds the Professional Certified Coach (PCC) credential through the International Coach Federation, for which she served on her local chapter’s Board of Director’s as Programs Chair.
When Lucetta experienced Raleigh Coaching Academy’s cutting-edge Creation Coaching Model ©, she immediately declared, “this is the next generation of coaching!” In the early days of RCA, Lucetta’s commitment to the coaching industry, and her bestie Kathleen, led her to put her own business on hold to help RCA grow. Then and now, as President and Senior Co-Lead, Lucetta brings untold talent and love to the leadership team.
In addition to being a badasss, and all of the above, Lucetta is Founder of her private coaching practice Your Life In Bold, LLC. It’s really hard to keep up with this woman!

A life-long lover of “air in her hair”, Laura retired her motorcycle for a boat and can usually be found enjoying a beautiful sunset from her dock on the Chesapeake Bay, glass of heavy, bold Napa Cabernet Sauvignon in one hand, her husband’s in the other!
